Children and young people can refer themselves for this support. We also accept referrals from parents and referral partners.
We understand that lots of young people will face personal challenges during their life, and our team of dedicated experts are on hand to help support and guide young people through these tough times. Moreover, we deliver 1-2-1 targeted support interventions at our dedicated meeting spaces at Positive Futures. This specialist intervention allows young people to access emotional support for any personal issues going on in their lives. Our overarching goals are to help improve young peoples’ mental health, self-esteem as well as build character.

In addition to 1-2-1 sessions, dozens of meetings are also attended with / and on behalf of families including EHAT’s, CINS, TAF’s, CPC’s etc.
Referrals to the FSS are only accepted via the Positive Futures Team, i.e., we are working with the young person and it becomes apparent the family need support. The collaborative approach of the FSS engages parents/carers as experts of their own children; being those closest and most trusted. Our aim is to provide support to families on a wide variety of issues. We work closely with schools, local authority services, youth organisations and a variety of agencies to intercept and & facilitate change before risk factors increase.
