Well done to our Mini group who completed the Winter Walk around Stanley Park this week as part of their Christmas fundraising activity. We are so proud of our Mini group achievements, as they are the youngest members of our Positive Futures family. The walk is part of their Christmas social action to raise funds to support homeless families at The Whitechapel Centre and those in need of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Despite it being a wet, cold winters night there definitely was a great Christmas feeling as they walked around the park with Christmas hats,  reindeer ears, and singing Christmas songs, even it was their own versions being sung.  The highlight of the walk was walking past both of the City’s famous football grounds, with the famous words above the gates of Anfield providing appropriate support for our walkers.
