Hours: 17.5 hours/week (0.5 FTE – flexible working options available)
Salary: Up to £15,000 per year (pro rata of £30,000 FTE)

We’re looking for a curious and supportive People and Culture Lead to help embed a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture, lead the implementation of a new HR system, and support managers across the employee lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with the CEO to ensure our existing HR policies are effectively applied and tailored to how we work. You’ll also play a key role in implementing a new HR system, exploring how AI and digital tools can improve productivity, and reporting on key people metrics each month.
This is a hands-on, strategic role for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and improving systems and culture in a values-driven environment.
· Champion a values-led, inclusive and supportive organisational culture.
· Lead staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives that reflect the team’s needs.
· Support leadership and managers in fostering a positive and empowered workplace.
· Ensure our existing HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and aligned with
our ways of working.
· Coach and support managers in using policies confidently and fairly.
· Manage recruitment processes from end to end – from job design and advertising to
interviews and onboarding.
· Support managers through all stages of the employee journey: induction, development,
performance, and exit.
· Ensure fair, inclusive and legally compliant HR practices throughout.
· Lead the implementation of a new HR system, streamlining processes like onboarding, leave tracking, and performance reviews.
· Identify opportunities for AI and digital tools to enhance HR processes and improve productivity. · Stay curious and open to new technologies, with support to explore and adopt tools after recruitment.
· Maintain accurate and confidential records.
· Produce monthly reports on key HR KPIs, supporting strategic decisions and Board reporting.
· Monitor trends and suggest improvements based on data insights.
· Coordinate learning and development opportunities aligned with team and organisational needs.
· Promote a culture of continuous improvement, feedback and personal growth.
We’re looking for someone who is:
· CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards it) or holds a comparable management qualification (e.g. CMI Level 3)
· Experienced in HR, recruitment, or organisational development in a small or values-led organisation
· Confident in supporting the full employee lifecycle and advising managers
· Well-organised, solutions-focused, and great at building relationships
· Tech-savvy with experience or interest in HR systems and process improvement
· Curious, supportive and open-minded, with a willingness to learn and explore how AI can support HR and organisational productivity
