Positive Futures (PF) is a Liverpool based youth development charity, who work with young people to help them achieve their full potential through a variety of support programmes and group activities.
To add to their already extensive portfolio of week, open access sessions, Positive Futures are launching regular dance sessions to encourage young people to get active and have fun whilst doing it. It is also hoped that the sessions will provide a safe space for young people from a wide variety of backgrounds, to develop new skills whilst building relationships with peers and the team from Positive Futures.
The sessions will run every Friday from 7th February 2020. They will be held at the charity’s base on Tetlow Way, Liverpool, and will run from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. The sessions are open to anybody aged 8-24, and the aim is to get a wide range of people of various ages working
together to create dance routines.
The team at PF plan to incorporate a mix of street, commercial dance, musical theatre, contemporary, jazz and lyrical dance, however, if a particular type of dance is requested, the team will endeavor to include it where possible, in an attempt to make sure everybody’s interests are adhered to.
To find out more or register interest in the sessions please contact Katie on firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 0151 207 6003.
Last year Positive Futures ran 403 Open Access Sessions for young people aged 8-24, find out more in their Annual Report.
