The safeguarding and welfare of all children and young people that engage with our services and activities is paramount to Positive Futures. We believe that all children and young people – regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation or identity – have the right to equal protection from all types of harm or abuse. Accordingly, we work in partnership with children, young people, their parents and carers, as well as other agencies to promote children’s welfare.

We have developed robust safeguarding policies and procedures – and these are always available for your inspection and review via our office. Our policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they reflect the very best safeguarding practice. All our staff and volunteers are DBS checked, inducted and regularly undergo refresher safeguarding training to ensure children and young people are kept safe.

We work in partnership with children, young people as well as their parents and carers, in order to continue developing our safeguarding practice. We would welcome any input and suggestions, you and your child may have, that could contribute towards further improvements.
