Welcome to Positive Futures’ Annual Report 2024/25: a celebration of another transformative year of empowering young people across Liverpool to realise their potential and build brighter futures.
Over the past year, our dedicated team has delivered hundreds of hours of youth work, welcomed thousands of young people into open access sessions, and provided tailored one-to-one support that’s helped individuals overcome challenges and gain confidence.
Through our outreach services, targeted programmes, and community partnerships, we’ve continued to create safe, welcoming spaces where young people feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.
This report highlights some of our most significant achievements, the stories that illustrate our impact, and the exciting developments ahead as we build on our mission to engage, educate, empower, and create opportunities for every young person we work with.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to providing safe, inclusive spaces where young people feel listened to, respected, and supported. Whether through open-access sessions or targeted programmes, we create environments that allow young people to be themselves, build confidence, and form positive relationships with trusted youth workers and peers.
Throughout 2024/25, our work has focused on helping young people develop essential life skills, improve their wellbeing, and navigate challenges both in and outside of school. From one-to-one support to group activities, our approach is rooted in empathy, consistency, and empowerment – supporting young people to make positive choices and recognise their own potential.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to expanding our reach, strengthening partnerships, and responding to the evolving needs of young people in our communities. This year has laid strong foundations for continued growth, innovation, and impact, and we’re excited to keep working alongside young people to build brighter, more Positive Futures together.
