Bio:  Michelle has 14 years of experience with working with care experienced children and young people in different residential settings. Michelle holds a foundation degree in Counselling Children and Young People, an NVQ 3 in Children and Young People’s Health and Social Care and is also PACE trained.

Michelle has a nurturing nature and understands how attachments are the foundation blocks to build positive relationships with children, she strives to be a positive role model. Every child needs to be heard and feel valued, michelle offers, consistency, warmth, and empathy, this provides safety for children to share their worries, past or present. During times of crisis, Michelle can offer support, using her skills and knowledge to navigate through and explore negative experiences and challenges at the child’s pace. Revisiting trauma can be a trigger.
