Fresh Start Waste Services Donates £1,000 to Positive Futures

Fresh Start Waste Services has stepped forward to support Positive Futures, to celebrate our 20th year of empowering young people. To mark this milestone, we have moved to a larger site, offering greater opportunities to the youth we serves. Fresh Start’s £1,000 donation will support funding the creation of a brand-new ‘Mini Muga’ (Multi-Use Games Area) complete with a small garden for our young people to enjoy.

The Mini Muga will provide a vibrant outdoor space for running, playing, and relaxing, striking a balance between high-energy activities and tranquil downtime. It is part of the charity’s vision to enhance its facilities and ensure local young people have access to safe, supportive spaces where they can thrive.

Jayne Kennedy, Marketing Consultant at Fresh Start, expressed her enthusiasm for supporting the initiative. She stated:

“At Fresh Start, we believe in building stronger communities, and Positive Futures exemplifies the power of grassroots impact. Their work changes lives, giving young people the confidence and resources to achieve their potential. We’re delighted to contribute to this incredible new facility, which we know will make a real difference.”

Positive Futures has been a lifeline for thousands of young people over the past two decades, offering programs that build skills, foster resilience, and open up new opportunities. CEO Clare Corran spoke about the importance of Fresh Start’s contribution:

“This donation from Fresh Start Waste Services is a fantastic boost to our plans for the new site. The Mini Muga will be a wonderful addition, giving our young people a place to have fun, connect, and feel safe. We’re grateful for Fresh Start’s generosity and belief in our mission.”

Positive Futures has long been a key pillar of support for Liverpool’s youth, and with this latest development, we look set to continue our legacy of empowerment and positive change. Fresh Start Waste Services’ donation highlights the power of local businesses coming together to strengthen our communities, offering hope and opportunity to future generations.

A huge thank you to Fresh Start, and we look forward to working with you again in the future!
