WHAT IS SCHOOL BASED INTERVENTION AND SUPPORT?

We work closely with the schools to help young people realise their potential and tackle the issues that are effecting themselves and the local communities they live-in.

We deliver our School Based support programme through the likes of;

  • Sschool assemblies
  • Working with targeted groups on specific issues
  • Working on a one-to-one basis with a young person.

We create bespoke support programmes depending on the needs of the school or individuals involved. In the past year alone, we delivered over 200 issue based sessions in a range of  settings.

Our work with schools focuses on education, relationships and character building. Whilst formal qualifications are incorporated into our support, informal education through personal development has equal importance.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How can I access your support for my school?

    To discuss your needs in more detail, and check whether your school is eligible, please contact us and a member of the team will be in touch.

    However, please note that whilst we would like to help all schools, we need to prioritise those in our local area due to limited resources. So please let us know what area of Liverpool you are based when contacting us.

    How long do you work with schools for?

    The amount of time we spend working with a school really depends on your individual needs. We asses each case seperately, and develop a customised intervention plan which we feel will help address the issues / challenges.

    Do it cost to access this service?

    Whilst we don’t currently charge for this service, we do rely on donations and funding to be able to do our work. Therefore, we are also appreciative of any donations from supporters. However, this is by no means compulsory or expected.
