In between all of the fun and activities we have been hosting throughout half term, we have also had the chance to take three of our senior young people to Liverpool Town Hall for Young People’s Question time
The event was a great opportunity for young people in the city to question local leaders from Education, Youth Services, Transport and Crime on the future of Youth Support and Youth Participation in the Liverpool City Region. It was also an opportunity for our seniors to take part in round table discussions with other organisations and young people, including the Anthony Walker Foundation, Young Inspectors and Targeted Services for Young People.
It might have been half term but young people from across Liverpool filled the council chamber at @TownHallLpool for Question Time on Wednesday! ❓
A panel including our Director of Education @RB14251 and @merseysidepcc was on hand to respond to concerns and ideas… 💡 pic.twitter.com/OKGlyRdP3b

The event was incredibly well received by our three attendees from Positive Futures, and they were able to table their questions to the panel and overcome their initial nerves.
Chris, a member of our Youth Development Team who accompanied the seniors to the event said: “It was a great opportunity for our young people to learn about all the services that need to work together to support our city’s young people, and a great opportunity to demonstrate how their voice is important for positive change. I think it really inspired our young people, and we look forward to taking part in more events like this.”
